Just came into this place because I was driving by the gas station and I thought it looked cool. Best fried chicken I’ve ever had. Can’t imagine what the other reviews are complaining about, the guy that served me was very friendly

When I found out that this business had less that 5 stars I was appalled! When you enter the eatery you are welcomed with a clean dining room with plenty of space and some pillows incase the wooden seating is to rough for your back.
The people who work there are beyond friendly , accommodating and patient. I've seen their interaction when individuals come in after 12am drunk and belligerent. The owner or employees never raise their voice or lose their cool.
Lastly the food is amazing! So much variety and option and flavor! I usually order their chicken, goat, or fried whiting fish. Never have they failed.
Those who have rate this establishment poorly SHAME ON YOU! They deserve much better than that!

Quiet but friendly little shop located at an awkward spot but it was worth a shot!
Upon entering it may SEEM like the menu is overbearing and a bit much but basically it's just a different combinations of chicken, seafood and wing plates 2,3,5pc etc etc....
I order a 9pc BBQ wings w/fries,my GF got a 6 chicken tender, my mother got the the whiting with fries and my son finished off a cheeseburger philly.. our food was served hot and fresh and in a timely manner ! I highly recommend if ever you're in town and looking for an affordable meal then stop in and give these guys a try, you'll be glad you did!

Me and my wife went to this place other night. It has a very low yelp rating but we try this anyways and we got the wings and fries in personally, I Thought that the wings were juicy and very tasty chicken and the fries were also crispy and soft on the inside. I don't know why this place has such a bad rating but I would come back here and try so many different things and would recommend if you haven't tried it.

Best Fried Chicken in Maine and beyond. Lamb and rice and other items are very good as well. Kind friendly service from all but especially the kid who works the register.

Finally tried them yesterday and was not disappointed. The chicken is really good! I'm a fried chicken snob and this is top notch. Fries were good and crispy and the mac n cheese was perfect. We had it delivered from Munjoy Hill to Meeting House Hill in South Portland and it made the trip well. The fries were still crunchy. We'll get this from now on. Buh-bye KFC and Popeyes. 🙂
